Neetra is currently involved in one of the most revolutionary projects in the field of Radio Broadcasting.
In partnership with Radio Haugaland in Norway, the Neetra team is creating the optimal conditions to build a milestone in the field of Digital Radio (DAB+) solutions for broadcasters.
The project, called “TheRadioHub”, merges the great potential of DAB+ broadcasting with the big opportunity to distribute and gather data through the web and social networks world.
Three main players are working at this crucial innovation: Radio Haugaland which is the developer of the software platform, the Fraunhofer Institute, the author of the DAB+ Contentserver and Neetra with transmitters perfectly integrated with TheRadioHub by implementing remote control of the transmitter sites through the same software platform.
Thus, within a single platform, the broadcaster is able to send audio+multimedia content to the DAB+ and web networks, gather and send content from/to the social networks, gather the end user’s feedback through the APPs available for smarphones/tablets and manage the so called “Hybrid DNS” system which send and collects management information from the home/portable/car receivers.
We are now approaching the design of the new “ALF” receiver with special features that will soon give to the project an additional and unique value, ready to revolutionize the world of digital radio and the experience of fixed and mobile listeners.
